i ordered my megan about a week ago., and im on a 2 week waiting list..but i think there exhaust sounds B.A.

 

Throw on a header and then it'll sound even better for a lil 4-cyl. I went to Captiol GTO's superbowl party (my friend's cousin is a member and set it up) and not only did I have the loudest car there, but all the GTO guys were actually impressed with how my car sounded. 8-cyl guys giving a 4-cyl guy like me props.....what has the world come to? Lol

 

ive been pulled over before by a cop and was told he was gonna give me a exhaust ticket for it being to loud but he said cause hes a performance car owner too he said it would be a shame cause it sounds well and he wouldnt wanna get a ticket for his exhaust either.... said he drives a 04 cobra

 

I just got a ticket for having a "modified exhaust"! The thing is, my exhaust is completely stock! I haven't changed anything! I even went to the Chevy dealer to have a technician certify that my exhaust is stock. I have a court date in a few days to defend myself. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

that sucks man.... i found it hard to believe when i first got my car that it had a decent bark to it from the factory.... most cars u cant heard worth a damn

 

I have the Magnaflow 2.5in system on my 2.4 . It sounds awesome! Not ricey and really deep. The best part is that under normal conditions you can't even hear it inside the car at both in town speeds and 60 or 70mph. If you blip the throttle and get into it it comes to life and growls then roars. At idle it purrs like a little lion. The torque increase is great.

I got mine for $450 incl shipping (Parts Plus on ebay). I have found it through a local PP dealer for $550 or something like that.

Meghan is cool but way too loud an looks ricey.
