Hmmmmm, with a stage 2 turbo I wouldn't have to replace my stock internals I don't think.

You don't have to replace them unless you want over 260whp.

If you do decide to go with the turbo, email zzp and tell them you have a 2008 2.4 and make sure you will be ok without replacing your pistons/rods.

Good idea, I am too new to this stuff and I freak out. I can't even think of simple solutions.

I'm new to boost too. I just learn stuff on here. Also before you get a kit, make sure you have a tuner that will tune it. You can't drive it without a tune.

I think if I got the stage 2 turbo I would actually save money because I wouldn't have to buy a downpipe.

Both kits come with a downpipe.

And you're also going to have to buy the sedan pillar,a boost gauge and wideband and gauge.

The SC kit doesn't. ZZP doesn't recommend 260+ whp on stock rods and pistons and stage 2 turbo would put me around 280.

I hope so because rods and pistons are expensive.

If you're really worried then just go with sc. It will still be a really fun daily driver.

It would be cool if you were local, we could do our build together lol

I'm also saving some money because I don't have to pay to have the kit installed. My bf is gona do it.

Well dang. If you were here I bet we would help you out. I'm getting excited about this. The family/people I hang out with all have fast cars. There's a 2012 gt 5.0, a twin turbo'd BMW,a c5 corvette, and my bf just bought a supercharged lightning 2 week ago. Can you image how I feel when I'm around them? Lol. I need it to be fast so I can keep up.

Nobody I know has a fast car. Actually, nobody in my family owns a car. They all own trucks or suvs. So this is my chance to prove how bad ass a tiny car can be. Plus I love to floor it and fly down highways.

Those zzp numbers are rough numbers and are using their tune.
The main thing that will decide how much you will push is the tune. You can tune it a conservative tune and won't go over, also you can set how much psi you want to push to limit the HP you will push.

So either way you won't go over the internals limits.
