My old flowmasters gave me nothing but headaches and they don't sound anything as good as my Magnaflows did.
One of my mufflers had something break inside of it and make a high pitch ringing noise. It was so annoying.

kinda loud when ur up in the higher RPM's, but it has a nice low growl to it, i get compliments alot. works perfect for me, no need to waste $300 or more on a exhaust system, i'll just get some headers and maybe a DP, but thats all.

I have a 40 series black case on mine. Very nice and deep sound. I'm happy wit it. I kept my resonator on. I have a offset in and center out. Yeah i like setting off the alarms in parking lots too.

yes! check it in a parking garage, u'll b settin them off left and right, my wife finds it strangely hilarious when i set off alarms. got any pics of how u mounted the muffler? still looking for the best way to mount it.

I've never really heard SS Familywagon's car, but Blown 4-banger's sounded horrible with a flowmaster. I recommend trying 2 Magnaflow mufflers. 1 round and one oval. That is what Blown 4-banger had before he added a 2nd round for a total of 3 mufflers. Here is with the 3 mufflers.

If you are willing to shell out the cash, the GMPP catbacks would be a very good option for you. Here is my car stock and with the GMPP Sport. ( have since switched to the Touring for a deep mellow tone)

I was always told that the 40 will sound very raspy unless your engine expells a lot of air (like an FI car or a V8) and Flowmaster designed the 60 series to sound best when installed on the smaller N/A engines. Thats the muffler I am going to get when I do my exhaust. I heard one on a 2.4 twin cam Cavalier, and it sounded like my buddies magnaflow catback on his SS/SC, nice and deep.
