Fuel Filter

Not sure if its the same for the 2.4, but for the 2.0 you're supposed to change it at 34,000 km (21,000 mi).
You will hear a very noticeable whistling sound if it is too clogged and overworking your fuel pump. That, and your car will not turn on on the first or second try.
If you don't have any of those symptoms I would just change the filter anyway to be on the safe side.

Pull your fuel pump fuse (located under the hood).
Start your car.
Your car will start...then die. Turn car off..
Get out of car...Walkt to rear of car...Climb underneath...
Locate fuel filter...Use quick disconnect tool from autozone...
replace fuel filter from auto zone.....
climb out from underneath the car...
walk to front of car...
replace fuse...
turn car to on but do not start...allow fuel pump to pressurize.
start car...
let car run for 2-3min...
turn car off...
check for leaks.
Done!

Start to panic and freak out when your car won't start, only to realize you put the relay is one clip to the side

I think knowing how to use the disconnect tool is the hardest part. Had to teach myself how to do that. So simple. A ten minute job took an hour cause I started with the wrong tool and no idea how to use the right one.

i find it very stupid that they dont provide a proper maintance schedual in the owners manual, u have to check at the dealer to see when the proper schedualed maintence for your car is.
Even my old 93 beretta had a proper maintance schedual in the owners manual for it
