im bored and i have a ss/sc with stage 2 and then some. it was fun for a lil while but i got used to it and i wanna go faster. im out of money and after stage 2, mods start to have potential to cause some catastrophic failures. after driving my fathers LS1 i really want to get something with a V8 and mod that. i <3 low end torque.

header? downpipe? Nitrous?
I was actually thinking about trading in my SS for the new Caliber SRT-4 when it comes out this fall, but I decided to just go ahead and finish the 'balt first at least. Gotta follow through with my plans!

haha yeah......but someone people just can't afford to drive a V8 to work and back every day. Hell, i've put 22k on my SS since October, and with gas prices the way they are, I couldn't be happier with my 30mpg average! Plus, being as its my only car, it NEEDS to be FWD so I can at least attempt to drive it to work during snow storms, lol.

You wanna go fast??
Speed = Money^2
woo! LS1 Camaro FTW!
Camaro's arent as big of gas hogs as you think.. you can easily get high 20's mpg on the freeway and if you dont beat on it, youll get decent mileage. Some guys report 30 or higher on occasion..
The thing about the camaro is that you have "the ability" to get poor mileage just by excesive use of the right foot.

They can also be driven in the snow if you know what you are doing. My first car was an 85 camaro - no ABS, no traction control, low pro performance tires (which everyone knows are suck in snow) and I still managed to drive it in some pretty nasty snow storms.

or add weight to the back, I would throw a few 50lb bags of sand in the back, plus you could always use one to grit under the wheels if you did get stuck. Or at least that was the idea, mustang never got stuck to have to try. (2000gt) My girlfriend bought me the car so no complaining here, absolutely hated my 94 t-bird, I got that cheap after selling the mustang cause of an expensive divorce. She wouldn't even ride in it!
