gmpp touring exhaust

i was at the last meet at CED and heard the gmpp touring exhaust. but is there any similar sounding exhaust that is cheaper though. i checked you tube but that can be deceiving. i don't want loud and the touring, to me, possibly is the quietest....suggestions?

lol then just stay stock if u want to stay cheap and quiet.. the megan is prolly the cheapest anything cheaper is probably ****.. so either stay stock or just pay the $500 for the gmpp.. its a great price

if you want better exhaust note, i'll recommend upgrading header and high flow cat with downpipe while keeping the catback stock. sounds aggressive when i step on it but quiet otherwise

ooh, thanks...thats an idea! but doesnt that defeat the purpose of "opening things up" !don't i want that flow now that i put on a higher flowing DP and header? just a thought

huh? the most airflow restriction is coming from your downpipe/cat.. if that answers your question

it will still open up with some hp gains but of course the result will be better with aftermarket catback. i personally havent been able to find a muffler sound that i like on these cars so i left it stock instead, im glad i did .

i have a vid here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoXi0GCQ3Mo

never went past half throttle tho

thanks! that def helped...that is a idea worth considering...i did like the sound of the touring - suttle yet loud enough to hear a difference. the only thing is though...warranty issues with the d/p

I have the Touring, CA V1 header, and a ZZP 2.5" catted DP.

I get so many compliments on it.

Quiet and deep when cruising, but it demands some respect when I step on it.

The only thing that they would be able to deny warranty on would be the catback........they legally can't deny your whole warranty because you installed an intake and catback.

I don't have the touring, but I do have the performance GMPP Catback for sale if interested. Has under 100 miles and new tip welded on. Its not very loud, my megan is much louder than this one. $400 picked up if interested since you're close.

on paper this is all true... but i do not want to go thru all the hassel making them undestand, and or pissing them off. my dealer ship is super ****, they gave me **** about getting my oil changes done at other place on my caddy when i had problem once with the engine, so for me it well worth it. When i spoke to them about GMPP stuff they had no porblems and where very openly postive, they just wanted it all to go thru them lol... gready basterds,, but to me its worht the extra loot so i have no porblems for the next 100,000 miles with my waranty

Sounds like your dealer is extremelly stupid. If they did that to me, I'd be at another dealership the next day.
