I kind of enjoyed piecing my own kit together and I knew nothing about it before I started. I got all of the pieces I wanted and to my liking. But, to each his own, you know. If you don't feel comfortable looking for parts on your own, then go ahead and buy the ZZP kit.
It's nice piecing together your own kit, it's cheaper, and you can get exactly what ever setup you want ie pulley size, intakes, injectors, intercooler ect

Same with me. Didn't really know much about supercharging the car, but once I started doing some research and piecing a kit together, it started to become exciting.
