Seriously, though...warranty coverage is an important consideration. Modifying your car does not void the entire manufacturer's warranty...that would be illegal, and you have certain protections as a consumer. The way it works is this...the manufacturer (in this case, GM) has to prove that the failed part in question was damaged by the modification you performed. This suggests that if you fail an engine or driveline component after you turbocharge the car, it will not be covered. However, if the windshield wipers stop working? No problem, still covered. You get the idea.
GM should not be expected to warrant a part that's been pushed beyond its factory intentions. It's important that you realize that the choice to modify the car is made by you, the owner, and therefore, you bear the responsibility for that choice's potential ramifications.
So what do you do? Well, for one, you should not modify a car that has a history of poor durability when modified. You're already good on this one...we've proven this driveline's capability for you already.
Secondly, you minimize your risks by only purchasing such a major modification as a turbosystem from a reputable, long-standing company that you know will put the utmost effort into the system's results, INCLUDING durability over the long haul. We are such a company!

I was offered to have a custom turbo kit done also but I have to pay for parts, and credits for HP tuner. I would do it but I don't have the money to do it as of yet but I will probably wait for hahn to make a kit for the o so mighty auto lol

Cobalt SS 2.4l Auto
I know that in Florida I have seen quite a few 2.4l automatics mine included. So Im sure once Hahn does a little research they will definitely see that many of us with our daily drivers want to be turboed!!!
Keep up the good work Bill!!!

I am very interested in this kit for two reasons. I am going to be buying an SS sedan auto shortly. And I am looking into buying a 2.4 Ecotec pulled from a Solstice to put into a sandrail and would love to turbo both of them. I am most likely going to go with the Solstice stage 4 kit for the sandrail.

Our Cavalier/Sunfire systems, when operated at similar power levels as this Stage II 2.4 kit, have resulted in mid-to-high 12's.
Our Solstice 2.4 car has gone 12.77 on street radials using a stock 2.4.
Our Sunfire 2.2, at Stage V power (but same turbosystem configuration as what we have here), with slicks and piston/rod upgrades has run low 11's @ 125 MPH.
