I got mine here.

But consider the Garrett kit with a custom tune as I later did. I found it to be a better solution.

oh okay, i didn't know you have changed stuff. did you not have them install it? i'm pretty sure they custom tune your car if you have them install it at their shop

If you want, you can have Hahn recommend shops in your area, he has authorized resellers, etc.

But, the kit is pretty much bolt on. You could do it yourself, or do like I did and have a more inclined friend help you out. I think we used a drill may be two times, totalling about 30 seconds of using any tool more complex than a ratchet.

Hahn's kit comes with a tune regardless of how you do it, but of course a custom dyno tune will always be more suited to your vehicle than a canned tune.

It works on all 2.4L cobalts... sedan and coupe. Even those with the auto trans.

that answers one of my questions, also what kind of specs does each kit have the stage 1 and 2, all i can find is info for stage 2 so im assuming there is a stage 1 kit however i cannot find it, another thing is this just a bolt on and go kit or is anything else required that isnt included in the kit.

The kit is around $3900 plus shipping on the turbokits.com site.

I have said to people that they should just get the Garrett kit, 60# injectors and my tune though. Same kit minus the tuning and injectors and i dont care for the boost fueler setup in the hahn kit personally.

I have the 5 spd and you will need a stronger clutch. Mine immedeately could not handle the torque!

Other than that I have beat on it hard for 15000 and have gone on a 3600 mile road trip and drove it 23 hour continuous and its flawless!

to get the prices for the Hahn turbo you have to go to the PRICELIST link on the front page of the website. You should be able to get everything you need. He includes all the information you're requesting. not being a dick, just letting you know that the website is in fact working using both firefox and IE. .

So the kit on the garret website is the same as the hahn one its relatively cheaper to, and it comes with the 60#?

Same tranny just a different clutch?

The Garrett kit is the same as the hahn kit except hahn includes a "tune" and the boost fueler and 42# injectors.

I have now stripped mine back down to the Garrett complete kit and bought my own 60# injectors and had it custom tuned. Makes the kit simpler and run better IMO.

which BTW is available from my tuning guy for a good price!

The transmission on the 2.2L and 2.4L are the same.

to clear up some confusion.

Garrett designed the turbo kit top to bottom.

HAHN then bought the kit...made some adjustments...added a tune. and called it a HAHN Kit.

the quality is all Garrett...the tune is HAHN.

HAHN also put some 'HAHN Racecraft' stickers on the piping.

They do for the majority of theire kits.

However like i said in the post above yours,

Garrett designed the kit top to bottom...HAHN then added a tune to make it work.
