Stupid question can't you just rotate the tube so the MAF sensor is faceing the right way? or is it a single peice. have you tried it with the sensor in?

Hey guys, well i'm slowly trying to get a new intake. I contacted Kenny through email and told him the problem. But this was his response.

please send me some complete intake pics and mAF pics. Even if they welded it on the other way the arrows would be in the right direction and the screw holes would be in the same spot . The arrows on the piece isn't what matters as long as the maf is installed in the right direction.
Thank you ,
Kenny

Does anyone have a better way that I could explain this problem to him? I don't think he knows that the screws and the adapter do not match up when it is backwards.

Thanks fellahs for the help.

Well, if you send him the pics like he asked, then he should be able to see what you are saying.

Another way to fix it just came to me...if there is enough room to drill alternate holes, do that, than tap and die it to make it work. Post up the pics you send to Kenny. I'd like to see it as well.

Ok, I didn't know you added a pic to the thread...looking at it, the pic of the MAF is not good, can't see the other side, but now that I see the intake, I see that its not possible to mount it but in only one direction based on how one of the holes is farther in than the other one which is right on the corner.
