Help! Tried getting my car tuned with hp tuners and this is what happened

Yes, will, we had to re-write it, remember? We both about pissed ourselves because the car was erased and we couldn't get it to write the caliberation.

False, If you buy the rights to an entire year like the 2006 Cobalt you can tune all of the supported engines (2.4L AND 2.0L) Just not the 2.2L yet.



For those of you with the AUTO you HAVE to WRITE ENTIRE. It is because the car has a VCM and a TCM. The write calibration does not work in this case.

I agree, you unlock the 2.0L and it reads and writes the 2.4L as well. Its a loop hole in the software.

It says its a 2.0L, but it recognizes its a 2.4L and gives you the 2.4L options and things. its wierd but it does work.

It's not a loophole, they intended it that way.

hmm, they said it was something they were going to fix when my friend asked them about it, because they kinda lose money over it since you pay for the one and get two out of it.
