Ok will it be like 2 inches like they said. Will the prokit lower 1.5 more?

So do the SS sedans use the same springs as the cobalt ss coupe?

There are 2 versions of the ss coupe SC and 2.4. I know for a fact that both 2.4 SS's have the same springs.

however, i'm not sure on this but i think that they have neither the same as the SC or the LS/LT models. i believe they have their own. GM makes three different suspensions for the cobalts. one is specific to the SS/SC one to the SS's and one to the LS/LT's

the prokit will probably drop you a little more than what it says for the SS, but i would still go with the sportlines. You'll be happier in the end

**AND ANYONE PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG. THIS IS JUST AN ASSUMPTION

SS (coupe and sedan) and SS/SC have the same springs. The 18" wheels on the SS/SC create the illusion of it being lower.

The Sportlines will provide you the best drop no matter what kind of Cobalt you have. The Pro-kit and sportline springs for a LS/LT show a bigger drop than for the SS and SS/SC simply b/c the LS/LT sits higher stock. But there is only one pro kit spring and one sportline spring for Cobalts. The drops for diff models are different depending on that particular models stock ride height (the SS and SS/SC being lower than the LS/LT due to different stock springs).

So in a nutshell, yes the SS sedan has the same springs as the SS coupe, and an LS/LT sedan has the same springs and an LS/LT coupe. Any spring for a Cobalt will fit any Cobalt, they just show diff listings to show you the drop over your stock spring, and since diff Cobalts have diff springs stock, the drop will vary accordingly. Hope this explains it all.
