HIDs and automatic lights

I garage my car, so the lights will come on regardless of how bright it is outside. So when I pull out in broad daylight, they turn off before the ballasts and bulbs have a chance to warm up. Is that bad for them? I have an 06 so I don't have DRLs.

Mine have been doing this for a loooooong time. No problems here. Similar conditions as you.
