I'm sure the bottom end can rev pretty damn high. It's the valve train you have to worry about.

I know the bottom end is strong but I just hadn't seen what anyone actually has taken it up to. I will probably need to do at least 7500 and probably do 7900 but it would make me feel better if someone else has done it lol

Pretty sure 7500 is pushing it for max springs if i remember correctly. Just off the top of my head i think 7400 and 7500 is where valve float starts.

What the hell are you doing to your motor that it is "going to happen"? This will not end well.

i CAN rev to 7300 rpm on stock valve train. no need to rev higher as even a tuned le5 stops making power around the mid to high 6000rpm range.

although i must say with my lastest tune i keep making power till 6900-7100 rpm

i wouldnt push it much farther than 7300 occasionaly, (if i miss the shift from 1st to 2nd is usually only time i see 7300)

Im not using stock cams and the valvetrain can handle it, however with the r/s ratio the LE5 has I was just interesting with how high these things can handle up too.

could be installer error or manufacturers defect.. you install top side or take off head.. there are alot of factors

i can only say my friend is a class A mechanic he knows his ****. they installed from up top using compressed air. and zzp made him pay for the replacement spring.

either way just saying that ive seen em break. and you never see supertech or others break. (that ive heard of)
