what does everyone recommend for the 2.4? like what size pulley would be best for a DD? for it to still be safe and reliable. i know i will have a good tune through trifecta so im not worried about that

ideally you would see anywhere between 13-16psi of boost on a 2.8. However, you are also spinning the rotors at a faster rate, so you would most likely get heatsoak a lot easier. On your whip, xander, I would recommend not going over 12 psi on your internals. A 3" pulley would be fine, but it's really up to you.

considering from what I've read, that even the lsj block (stock) can't stand more than 25 psi, he'd more likely see a piston shoot through his tailpipe at that boost

Dude just do ur research and u'll be fine. I wouldn't suggest goin lower than 2.8 without supporting cooling mods

Being tht ur a 2.4 u'll be around 12 pounds on a 2.8 pulley. We ain't the same as the lsj motors, they get like 16 pounds on that set up. Ima doin a 2.8 and with NICE mods lol and I'm fine and running perfect. Ppl who go and blow there motors are the ***** that can't drive or the ones tht throw a 2.6 pulley with no supporting mods

I'd pay money to see a Piston...shoot out of the exhaust pipe.
