The sad sad truth of the matter is 2.4 auto's stock are barely any quicker than a 2.2 manual.

So yes we are serious. The manual loses less power through drivetrain losses and has better gearing.

You will be surprised. Id bet you only dyno around 155-160whp. The tune you have is a conservative one.

The fact is that 2.4 auto's are slow. Period. Once you turbo them they can run very strongly. Even the 2.4 auto's who people supercharged arent considered fast. But they can be somewhat quick.

Sit back do some reading and research.

I dyno'd my 2.2 5spd at 124whp stock and with full bolt ons (ie, intake, 2.4 tb, 2.4im, trifecta tune, header, catted dp, 2.5" catback), I redyno'd at 157whp so I picked up just about 35whp from fully bolting my old car... same can be said with yours. you are nowhere near 215whp! maybe 165ish-whp would be a better estimate considering your an auto




and thats the exact reason I said eff it and got the ss/tc... 230whp STOCK and at least 300+whp BOLTED AND TUNED... yes plz...

if a stock 2.4 dynos at 143whp and you gain about 35-40whp after full bolt ons and tune. then that would be around 170-180whp right? because thats what I'm guesing im around

 

Mine feels slow as hell after I drive my camaro then get back into my cobalt im pretty much sitting there screaming at it to accelerate
