i need a favor!

can anyone tell me how long the stock 2.4 springs are i got some stock ss/sc springs from a buddy today and i wana see if there any shorter before i put em on i dont wana swap em and have it not go any lower. i know alot of people have said there the same springs but others say there not. so if someone could get me the messurments of the front and rear springs when there not compressed so i can compare that would be awesome. thanks

The SS has the same springs as the SS/SC. The SS/SC has the illusion of being lower b/c of its larger 18" wheels. The LS/LT have the taller springs, so only LS/LT owners would benefit from the SS/SC and SS springs.

The springs are identical. If they had the same wheels, ride height would be identical.

As it is now, the SC sits slightly taller with less wheel gap, and the NA sits a bit lower, with a bit more gap. This is because a 45zR18 is a bigger wheel/tire than a 50r17.

I did post proof on here months ago. I lowered my 2.4 SS sedan and Devons SS/SC on the same day and we measured both cars and they were identical in thier ride hieght to the 1/16 of an inch. I did Devons car first and wrote down the part #'s off his factory springs before he left. Later that afternoon when I did my car I compaired the part #'s of that I had gotten from Devons car to those on the springs I had just removed from my car and they were in fact the same part #.

The ONLY difference between the FE3 and FE5 is the steering rack and sway bars, beyond that they are the same.
