That's why there aren't very many Cobalt's over 300whp. Most Cobalt owners aren't serious Car Tuners. They aren't willing to dish out the cash to make things fast.

Good Luck with the sale though.

x2. I drove 65 mph on the interstate two days ago... OMG, 40mpg! No joke. I was REALLY f'in surprised.

But I've noticed that the slower you drive in our cars, the mpg seems to increase exponentially.

^^^ very true. the difference between 60 and 70 MPH in gas mileage is crazy.

Seems like it needs a little longer 5th

Yo dude, I am SOOOOOOOOOOO pissed and sorry that I don't have the money for this right now. If I did, it would be sitting in your lap right now and we would schedule an appointment for me to drive down and visit you for a day or two. I would jump on this in a heart beat even if I lived in SoCal.

Cinsidering the fact that Beck spent about $3000 on his supercharge deal, thsi is dirt cheap. Beck however stated that he spent more on extra's for his build.

I have a question though, the supercharger intake is on the driver side but the 2.4L takes its air from teh passenger side... How does that work out in the end? There is stuff int he way on the driver side, isn't there? Please forgive this question, I am at work and don't have my car in front of me right now.
Dude your sig says soon to be Olean, NY. I was born and raised there and I go back there frequently. What are you going there for? And this isn't being done in a house, it's at my shop. This is no bs driveway install, I stand behind it with my shop's name on it:

Idk, that's pushing it. You'd have to have some serious headwork and such done to lay down over 200whp. The VVT will help, but you're talking about a 40% increase in power roughly. Now 200bhp probably wouldn't be all that hard.

That's what I said. But after all that it would be more than $2000 and he'd still be making less power than the blower

i'd do this in a heartbeat, if I didn't just put out $2300 for next semester...

I'll be in WVa on the 17th-21st too.

actually, no i wouldn't. from what I can tell, still no HPT option for the '08 2.4's. keep forgetting that the tuning is the only thing holding me back from SCing my car atm.

I'd take that off your hands right now if you were in or around WA, OR, BC or AB area.... crappy!! I want a super on my 2.2'. I'd get it tuned by Vince from Trifecta Tuning afterwards.
