fixord!!!!
well I went to go see take the wastegate apart to see if the spring snapped. When I went to remove the 6 or 7 bolts, they were all LOOSE!!!
So I tightened them up and I went for a test drive at my local 1/4 mile test track, and bam 9psi and no more with only the wastegate connected to turbo. So now I gotta put the mbc back on and dial in 12psi. So all is good!!!

Yeah, the top part that comes off to get to the spring. I guess previous owner must've messed with it and forgot to tighten. Its a tial wastegate

from a quick search on the interweb that turbo is supposedly good for 500+ so I doubt you'll have any issues getting there
how does it feel compared to the m62?
