Installed Jet Stage 2 this morning. Thoughts
Ok, so i got the chip and put it in this morning after work. (Took all of.. uh.. 2 minutes with disconecting the battery) Started right up fine, no lights. I started backing out of my drive way and my powersteering started to skip, tug a little bit. Ahh ****. As i was going down the road i was thinking, this chip isn't doing ****. And it felt like i wasn't doing anything. I am running 91octane with this stage 2. So, i went to mcdonalds for some breakfast and sitting there.. at idle in neutral, Car dies.. No sputter.. no warning.. no anything. So, i started it back up. Once i got into my town and on the backroads i figured i'd give it another shot before calling jet and bitching. Dig: Rpms climbed as it was in a hurry, first gear i hit my limiter almost instantly. 2nd still had some noticeable power, was suprised. 3rd gear held onto torque while i was inclining in speed. And then i had gone back to about 60mph. I can tell for SURE from a digg on first it took off like a banshe. My powersteering still twitches though.. Maybe it's because the wires for the connector for the ECM are so damn short i had to stretch the bitch to plug into the chip We'll see. I'm going for another dyno either tomorrow or monday.. Thoughts?

Dude, you would of been better off finding somebody with HP tunners, bought some credits and got a tune. That way you know what you are doing to your car. But you bought a little black box that you have no idea what was done to it.

Dude, I've got a 2008.. No Tunes support myplatform as of yet. And at least with this, it pops on and off. "BOX TUNE, NO BOX TUNE" Some members wanted to know so i figured i'd buy one. I don't feel to comfortable with someone tuning my car just as of yet anyway.. But i'm sure as soon as HPT breaks it.. i will be getting it lol

Before Chip, With the mods i have currently (minus the DP I have now) I put 166 to the wheels. (with my shitty ass GM tune) I mean.. which is low But seeing the car comes stock with 173 crank (everyone has diff numbers).. Wasn't to bad
AHh yes, again.. no tune for my 2008 as of now. But how do you figure it would be "safer"?

As far as the thermostat, no i have my stock one. It's 180 or around there anyways as of right now. It's not manditory.. My temps have been keeping the same.
I re-installed chip after speaking with jet.. so far all my problems have gone away. They say to put 150 - 200 miles on it and i'll see all real gains. Dyno will tell the truth tomorrow hopefully!

It is interesting that you had power steering problems -- the module doesn't affect this and since it is electrical the engine RPM shouldn't affect it either unless you might have had a bad/weak battery connection.
Keep us informed of the reliability. My Stage 1 module is still working nicely -- for more than a month. If you show some real numbers on the dyno I would be interested in having both modules to try out myself.
