well i installed my Ingalls TD, CA header and catted xtc DP last night and i have AEM intake and GMPP catback. i am very impressed with my car now i would like to get my car tuned ASAP.
I am heading to the track tommorow what do you guys think i will run with these mods:
-AEM Intake
-CA Header
-XTC Catted DP
-GMPP Sport Exhaust
-STS with weighted know
-Ingalls TD
Anybody dyno with similar mods? my car pulls to 100 fairly easily now.. i wonder how much HP

If you can drive and live somewhat close to sea level a high 14 is definatly possible. hell i ran a 15.3 with I/E/T with no track prep and a 2.5 60ft.

and the 2.4 should be at mid 15's.

i would think you would hit 14s with good driving.. if u look in the 1/4 mile list a guy hit a 15.1 with intake and tuning i believe.. you should have a bit more power than that. Im taking my 2.4 to the track this wknd and hope to get low 15s.. i just got my intake on, and if my catless xtc dp comes in ill install it with my header and tranny mounts.

the thing alot of people dont know about cobalts is they have p.e. delay so power shift when you take it.dont let up on the gas in between shifts.i took my cobalt to the track and couldnt get past a 16.18.i was so pissed.i did some research and found out about this p.e. delay and power shifted, dropped my tire pressure to 25 psi and did a huge burnout.then ran a 15.6.oh just to let you guys know before you bag on me im in a ls 2.2 (l61)

street tires are made to disapate heat, it may be a weird coinsidense, but doing a burnout with street tires is useless.

Correct. You can spin them over a bit before you go to the line (not in the water) but only to get any debris (rocks, sand, etc.) off the tread area.
