made an intake today will put pics of it on here tomorrow but heres a clip of what it sounds like and 0-60

Someone told me it takes a few week for the light to go off its you mass flow sensor causing it and the same thing happen when I accidently unhooked the mass flow
Ill get a better vid. tomorrow and pics of it

do me a favor. unhook ur battery. disconnect MAF. re-connect MAF, hook up battery. that shud take it off. wait bout 10min with battery off to put it back on. goodluck

yea me neither but the bigger one wouldnt fit I may go ahead and get a U pipe and put a larger one on

do the easy thing

just take it to the dealer and tell them you have a cel and just say reflash my car and theyl do it for free from inside the car as long as your under warrenty milage you should be fine.

FYI I was about to do that unhook the battery thing when I saw a big ass 50 red fuse by the battery took that out then unplugged the senor for like 10 sec. plugged it back in put the fuse back in and the check engine light went off

yea totally changed the intake around made a new on with a big ass filter at the bottom also dressed up the engine alittle bit

The new intake is cool, but I don't like how you put all the tacky engine cover mess back on. My engine plastic is degrading somewhere in a landfill......took that stuff off (aside from the ECM cover) the day I took the car home and pitched it straight into the trash, lol.

still, +rep for being bold and making your own intake..........twice!

Good job on your intake man it looks good. The red engine cover is pushing it a little but it deff. looks different. Did you get that CEL takin care of?

yea man thanks and I added the plastic back because its also a heat shield which I felt I needed and wanted something different

if anyone wants help making a custom intake for the 2.4 or 2.2 I can help just pm me

Where have you connected the breather hose that comes off of the valve cover?? It appears that it has been folded over and clamped. This would not allow the relief of crankcase pressure. You could install a small filter. The filter would allow a release of pressure without allowing dirt to get in.
