it would work. i heard k&n are giving cel's on our cars. i would recommend injen. the kit is a short ram just like this k&n or a cold air as well. i got it from cobalt-addiction for 250.

well so does the k&n. comes like the injen. yet i wud go injen. heard to many problems with k&n with our cars.

That's a 2.2L intake? Then yes. And may I suggest Turbo Tech Racing?

it will work. its designed for a 2.2 and so is all of the intakes for the 2.2/2.4. its the same setup. same install. go injen. its one cheaper then this k&n and alot of us 2.4 guys are using injen and getting no cel's and great performance out of it. and it sounds kick ass.

The k&n for the 2.2l will work however it may throw a cel. The injen has been the choice of intakes for the 2.4.

Research is always a good thing. Planning out your build and making sure you have exactly what you want can save you a ton of money in the long run.

If you have ANY thoughts of ever getting a fiberglass or CF hood, and like the RKSport design, then GET THE GM! it is the only design that will make the scoop in the RKSport hood fully functional ram air. Or you can build your own (click on the links in my sig). the GM with functional ram air makes decent HP!

Okay

I know this has proabably been asked beofr but with the Injen intake is ther any performance difference between setting it up as short ram opposed to the cold air?

yes

SRI- louder, lots of heat soak, still gain some hp

CAI- not as loud, runs the the engine cooler, more gain in hp, looks nicer

{Shiver} eyahh I still remember that post from way back. The thought of taking a drill to my hood.

Its still a cool mod you did though

When I switched my Injen from a SRI to a CAI it sounds WAY more badass.

Awesome. Sound is important, but I think I'd take performance over it. All personal taste i guess.
