I wonder if Hahn would make a smaller N/A version for us....? hmmmm (perhaps a PM is in order...)

Nah you don't. Put a hooker there. Plenty of sucking power.

will do. from what I understand a N/A intake is quite a bit more difficult to make and a F/I one? I guess cause it's gotta be smoother and flow better since there isn't any added pressure? I don't know but I guess we'll see.

I emailed hahn the other day...

"I’d think the manifold would be well-suited to NOS, yes. One backfire with the stock manifold would indeed ‘disassemble’ it, lol!
Currently, the manifold has not been released for 2.4 just yet, only 2.0. But you’ve given me a great idea. We could set it up for you with 1/8” ports in the runners to fit a four-nozzle fogger system. That would be the most effective way to go, and as we’ve shown the 2.4’s internals to be super-rugged, this could be a very successful setup!
The manifold goes for $839. You’d have to do your own air intake system, and possibly also extend the wires for the throttle body. Are you down with these extra tasks?
If you are ready to do this, we could begin development of the 2.4 version right away. Just let me know what you think.
Thanks! Bill"

I thought all the cobalts could easily use that manifold. i would hope for him to make a 2.4 specific one then.

would the power band shift on a 2.4 if you put on the 2.2 manifold?

Actually, his car was a 2.2L and he only belw it up cuz he activated it while doing a burnout and he fucked up.... The 2.4 which allows more flow then the 2.2L would be better for the N20

If ya wanna nice look, on here some where is a guy who swapped the 2.4L into his 2.2, but painted it like a silver 1st... look nice.

^^ ew. lol

that's an f-in expensive manifold... especially since you'd need to fab your own intake and re-wire the TB...why so much I wonder?

Naa, if your referring to the 2.4 ---> on the 2.2 theres a kit CED sells with an adapter plate for the 2.2L TB.

Its a Nice gain for 2.2L owners considering there no other options out there at the moment.... for N/A anyway

the plastic just looks cheap as hell. there isn't any other way about it, and plus if I ever went with nitrous it'd be an absolute JOKE to actually try and put it in there, I don't care what anyone says. lol.

what did he use like a metallic/shiny paint or something? and did it melt or chip or warp or anything being that close to the engine?

well I received word from Bill Hahn, they're working on it, and they are curious as to the amount of interest in the 2.4 community out there for this. i'm gonna make a thread separate for this to generate a buzz but pls, post there so I can link it to Bill and maybe he can give us some more info through there.
