with headers, i've found that you get what you pay for.

five or six hundred sounds like a lot, but if you're looking at a handmade piece that's nicely ceramic coated, port matched and includes all hardware and seals... it's about right if it makes nice gains.

people think nothing of dropping that much on a cat back which MAY add 2-3 ft/lb on a NA car and a bit more on a supercharged one, but a header which can free up 5-6 ft/lb PLUS let that fancy cat-back do it's job seems like too much.

i don't know how well this header is made, but i've handled the pacesetter and it's a pile of crap. but that's what you get for 250 bucks

I will likely buy one to go with everything else JBP is doing to my engine and then I will end up selling my TOG header.

Thus is why I got the GMPP extrude-honed manifold... no worries about quality... and a decent price.

But those are just a oem manifold that has basically had the walls thinned out. The primaries and collector don't compare to a true header.

The J-bodies headers aren't that expensive...$250-350 range depending on where you get it.

Have you guys checked out Pacesetter?

I wish they had a picture of the header. It is 14 gauge T-304 Stainless which is good, but I wish it was ceramic coated.

Why would we be looking at the V6 ones? The Cobalts only come with 4 cylinders.

Did you notice any power gains?

How much for one?
