*Yawn*

Every day that passes without a dyno sheet just makes JBP look worse. Still waiting to hear about these "gains" that the butt-dyno predicted.

I understand your fustration.lol we did dyno the car 155whp but the shop really sucked and we could not get HPT to work for my car...this being said,we all know from the numbers that the dyno is not accurate,as soon as we solve this HPT problem then its back to another dyno shop.. whats weird comparing this to the 2.0 cams is that they have no dyno sheet either but members are buying them up and with their group buy I think they got their cost down to four hundred. nevertheless I have dropped everything I have had 3 grand into this so I am not about to do another dyno without being able to tune it,damn dyno was 165.00 and it showed no gains not doing that again

went to my local tuner shop today and a guy with a 2.4 AUTO coupe (G5 Pursuit) put down 181.4 HP. 173.9 TQ with AEM intake, GM header, exhaust, westers tune, SS/SC injectors . IT WAS CONSISTANT, 3 pulls within .2 HP and TQ. they thought it was the tranny shifting but it wasnt. making the HP till the high rpms woohoo!!! the 2.4 with cams should get 195-200+ WHP!

SS/SC injectors on a 2.4l I thought that was pointless unless you had force induction

With the mods he has you are correct. However, he's probably getting ready for the next set of mods.

G5mike, I'm curious to see your a/f ratios after tuning with your cams.

I'll be getting mine dyno'd soon, both with and without my e-rams to satisfy all those nay sayers. I've got some ss/sc injectors waiting for my cam install if my stock injectors get anywhere close to 100%dc.

Running the numbers at 60lbs of fuel pressure (given a conservative estimate of 210 engine HP with my current mods - 178whp) yields a 88-94% duty cycle with the stock 24lb injectors - depending on what the brake specific fuel consumption actually is (between 45-50%). With cams adding another 15-20hp after tuning, I think the larger injectors will be needed. If not, it's always good insurance.

this has to be the longest most dissapointing cam install in history.

i could have widdled 2 cams myself with two pieces of steel and a dull knife while rocking on the rocking chair on my front porch before this project is done.

I'd like to see the pull before the N20. BTW, what % of duty cycle were your injectors at when you got 200whp on the dyno? And was that dynojet, mustang or some other dyno numbers, and at what rpm?

A dyno sheet would be must appreciated, my friend. We would all love to see the torque curve that the zzp header and b-pipe produces.

The more information we share, the more sense we can make of the results of these different mods. Of course you lost less hp due to the 5sp tranny, but could you estimate a % loss so we can have an idea of engine hp?

Thanks for posting. Good luck with your 100 shot - it's a bit ambitious for me!

have you gone t the track...?????

am i right in saying that no 2.4 has hit 14's yet? come on guys, if people are putting down 200whp or even getting close 14's are easily doable. more of you should hit up the quarter.

Best we hit with the 2.4L's in our group was 15.1 with light mods.

gah somebody has to hit a 14....its definately doable guys. not stock, but with 200whp it is DEFINATELY doable.

wow that's on street tires? seems like a low trap for that time for a fwd car. that is a very good time man! 155whp on a mustang dyno or a dynojet? i have a hard time beleiving just exhaust work and a tune will yeild anywhere near 45whp, so i am assuming those are mustang dyno numbers...

Im not sure. I had it done at Tag Racecraft though, so if anyone knows what they use...*edit time* its a dynojet upon 5 seconds of research Anyone know what that turns into when converting to BHP?
