this tends to be true, except for my case, the last dyno I had done was 155whp on a mustang dyno but the guy could not tune my car.that being said,Forcefed dyno is not a mustang dyno and that other 2,4 put out 122whp,so much for the mustang dynos being lower. Now down the street where that same 2.4 went he dynoed 50 more hp that would put that 2.4 172 on kenetics mustang dyno. What I'm getting at is everyone ragged on me when I put down 155whp on that other dyno(mustang) I thought those were pretty good numbers, now I might only put out 150 on my up comming dyno but compared to the other 2.4 that went in with full boltons and got 1222whp and me not having full boltons if I get 150whp than it will show quite a difference from mine to this other 2.4

If your car would have done 155 on the dyno I used, as compared to the 124 or so my 2.4 did stock, then that would be 30 HP for the cams, which is REALLY GOOD! Unfortunately, direct comparisons are difficult across different dynos, as you point out. Have you seen stick 2.4 numbers from the same dyno that you did 155 on? That would get closer to a direct comparison.

The only validity in any dyno run is to compare it to previous runs on the same dyno with the same car. Look at my numbers - as HP goes, it was disappointing, but the increase with the GMPP and scoop is certainly real enough. I had the luxury of establishing a baseline on a dyno that I will use for all future mods. This will give direct comparisons.

I did 150 hp and 148 ft tq on a dynojet, bone stock with 87 octane on a hot day. if that helps with the comparison at all. then on a mustang dyno, my friend's SS/SC with stage two and a few extras put down 225 hp.

well you can't really compare numbers online with a mustang dyno as it is VERY adjustable, so results will be pretty different from each one. A dynojet is quite a bit more consistant from dyno to dyno.

I plan on going back to that exact one once i have the injectors and tune next week to see what difference from stock it makes. Then Ill add the intake, dyno, and then the exhaust and dyno. I want to show what our cars can do and also have the info for others.

good plan, it is always best to go back to the same dyno in comparable conditions

the injectors were fixed last week but as of last night, I busted a rocker roller AGAIN, had to call the dyno shop at the last minute and they are pissed! the dealership cant crack the car open till Tuesday to see if its the same number two intake rocker roller again or maybe more than one...****** BS

wow...this is just a **** storm. i feel bad for you man, i have never heard of anyone having this many problems, especially going n/a....usually you go all motor to save yourself from the problems forced induction will bring later on, but you are just getting screwed over and over.

the dealership is trying to say that the second lobe is allowing the rockerroller to float causing the damage, i will know for sure about this on Tuesday or for the cams sake lets hope its just a bad lifter causing this, either way,I almost blew the top half of my engine for a third time.all I can say $$$$$ keeps on costing me,could have bought a turbo set up and a half by now.LOL
