The filters are like the same price JP.
They flow the same too, one is oiled, one is not.
It is just a different method of catching the dirt.
If I would do it all over again...I wouldn't pay over 100 bux for a damn piece of pipe

when i bought my 2.4L last year i got the gmpp intake right away and i hated it. i bought the k&n SRI intake and loved it. i say go for k&n. i never heard the fuita or injen but other than the tough install people seem to like them. K&N installed easily and quickly wth no fitment issues.

oh **** i agree, i paid 360 shipped for mine (**** you canada) for a peice of pipe and filter
#82
So really you are still getting it for the same price.
$360 for a ******* SRI?!?!?!?!?
You are crazy

dry filters are much better then oil fitlers. Dealerships will wig out about the Oil filter. MAF are alot of dough and control your Air to fule ratio, its veryy important, i would wany my Maf as clean as possible, not having to worry about cleaning my MAF and the lack of performance and possible harm to my car
can you tell us more about why u hated it?

on AEM's website, its gives two measurements on the filters, the first im assuming is the inside diameter of the flange? is this correct?
take a look http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=93

you dont need a dryflow, ive cleaned mine plenty. just because one dude over oiled his filter by spraying the hell out of it doesnt mean you will, just read the directions, thats what i did and i have no CEL or anything like that...

Here is the specs on the k&n filter:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RU-5147
see if you can find a dry flow that matches the specs.

The K&N is around $270 from Mopac in Langley.......that's where I got mine. The GMPP one is $390 from the dealer. I've had the K&N Typhoon installed since late December and I've never had a single problem with my MAF.......and it will NOT void your warranty, that's ridiculous.

Go with GMPP, it's the safest for your car. It is un-oiled so there are no MAF problems. The dealerships will like it and it WILL NOT void your warrenty. It als ohas a mean growl when you get on it, but sees to be pretty silent when cruising. It looks clean and really spices up the looks under the hood.
