I had one b4 I got my Injen and it never threw cel's. As for noticable power gains....not likely although I never reset my pcm after I installed mine. With my injen I've had it for about a week and have had no cel's with that either. I can safely say that the injen cai has made quite a difference and was worth every penny. Hope this helps a bit.

Well for 25 bucks it's well worth it... the fuel savings alone will pay for the filter...My economy went way up after I put mine in.....As for the power end of things K&N claims that a dropin will give roughly 2-4% increase over stock so maybe if you lucky 5-6 flywheel hp.

No CELs with filter changing.

I don't understand why people are getting CELs with intake upgrades anyways...sounds weird to me.

I can understand it throwing a code cause of something drastic done but you're changing the intake. I thought I heard somewhere that you guys have MAF sensors instead of MAP sensors, which might be why it's acting up.

I think another way of figuring out this problem is by actually knowing what code is coming up. People keep saying "I have a CEL" but don't know the code.

Also, the comment about hondas removing O2 sensors, that depends which sensor you're talking about. If you remove your 2nd O2 sensor, it's not reading exhaust flow...it more than likely reacts to high emmissions rather than low.

OR just take it to a auto store and they can do a complete scan for free.
