i think so to. it would make sense to rate somethings capability based on its weakest component

i'm not kidding

however, a lot of people have run it higher
i know a turbo2.4 running 250 lbs of tq
i doubt that. my G5 GT(2.4L) is rated at 165ft lbs torque it wouldt make sense for the tranny to be able to be capped off 5lbs less then what its actually rated at. From what i here though about the motors or the entire car in general is that they can handle alot of crap. I plan on putting the hahn turbo in my car. The hahn turbo is rated at 8Psi, any more then that and i beleive you would have to do some mods because i think 8Psi is all the stock can safely key word SAFELY handle lol. However if you put Meth Injection you may be able to crank 10PSI out of it stock from what im being told by the people who are going to be tuning my car. But there looking into it a little furthure first since my car is a daily driver. So i may just go the safe rout and stay at 8psi.

the F23 is definitely rated at a low number like 160ft-lbs, go look it up. and you cant rate an engines durability based on what kind of PSI it can hold...you have to go by power.

yeah but why would they rate a tranny for less then what the car is rated for lol. Basically that means your tranny is already taking to much from your stock car lol.
