Little Injen CAI problem

So I'm having a problem with the injen CAI fitting in without any rubbing. Here some pics..

Here are the 2 spots..

First is right by the front.

And the second is the hole where the intake goes under the headlight.

(There's a rag there to stop some of rubbing.)

Thanks for the help in advance

I know it might hard to describe but how did you readjust it? I think I got the hole ok now, but the problem in pic one I'm still workin on...

I hate the fitment on my Injen intake. Never fit right and the bottom bricket was welded on the wrong way.

Yea that's probably what I'll have to do, it's the right one though, I got it through TTR when they had a GB.

Where did you get the rubber from? Cause for now I took my sister's beer funnel and cut off like 6 inches and then slit it from top to bottom and have that edging around the areas.

Sorry for the late pics, and like I said in the pm's....I'll ship some over.

Best pics I could get, very bad angle.

But you get the idea, and as for the the cut out it drops through under the light, I am installing some myself this Thursday on my day off, I'll get pics up and I highly recomend it. If anyone else needs help with this stuff or can't get it pm me. It's Rubber Trim Edging, and Home Depot or Lowe's does not sell it, you have to buy it by the 250ft. rolls.

Ok, so I got the rubber guard from viper the other day and finally got to install it today!

This is by the front of the engine bay..

And this one is from looking under the car (under the splash guard) where the intake enters under the fender..

I say it looks great and and no more metal on metal action!

Thx a whole lot viper
