Post Looking to hit 300 hp

I've basically come to the conclusion that I won't be able to drop 4,000 on a stage 3 zzp turbo kit plus essentials in the near future. I have a stock 06 Cobalt SS sedan and I would like to make 300 hp at the crank. Right now I'm considering getting a dynotune wet nitrous kit with a 75 shot. I'm currently making a short ram air intake. Assuming that makes 9 hp that would bring me to 180 hp + the 75 from the nitrous that makes 255 hp. My question is how much power could I gain from a tune and what are my options to get to the 45 more hp that I want? I don't want to go more than a 75 shot on the nitrous fyi. Thanks for any input.

if you're going nitrous. get an intake, ...not one that you made. get a full exhaust. and then the nitrous and a tune. with the right setup you'll have over 300

I am making a very reliable intake and it will cost less than $90. I will prob post a thread on how to do it when I start the build. I can weld, it's going to be heavy duty. You should be impressed lol. That's great to hear! The SS's have a 2.5 inch exhaust. What do you recommend 3"? Catback? What size/what type?

they may have a 2.5 exhaust, but they have a shitty flow interupting cat, a restrictive resonator, a 2.25" bottle neck over the axle, and a restrictive as **** muffler
