Question Lowered suspension on a 2008 sport

Hey,
Just wondering what I should get for lowering my car.
I live in Quebec (big winter, lot of snow, a lot of calcium on the roads(a lot of rust on cars)) and I don't have another car for winter...
I suppose I could lower it 1" or so, and I will be ok. What would you guys buy? Coilovers? Lowering springs only? Which ones?

Soz for bad english :/

this?
CM Lowering Springs CHEVY COBALT 05-10 09 08 07 06 drop | eBay

They are the cheapest springs around on ebay... Any chances they will rust?
If I get ss/tc shocks, would it be better?

Why not Pedders/FE5 combo?

That seems pretty expensive...
My biggest concern is to break something under the car if I go too low, because ugly roads + winter = no good for lowered cars.

Sure you can get some Canuck motorsports springs but just remember you get what you pay for. You will have a much nicer ride with the FE5/pedders combo. thats what i'm eventually going to do
