Near as I can tell, you will drop the front about 1/2". I asked this before and measured a couple cars. I guess if we want a drop, we have to buy lowering springs.

you heard wrong...the ride is STIFFER because it is a performance oriented spring...unlike the stock ones. It in no way is "pogoish" like a cheap spring chop.

do it right or dont do it at all...

plus...dont you want to get rid of the nasty wheel gap on these cars?

Looks great man.. i was thinking about getting sportlines, but i think the pro-kit may meet my needs better.. the drop the pro-kit gives the 2.4 is pretty good i hear

Do you have any pics of your car with the pro kit?

Yea there is a big gap. I have the 2.4 SS as well I think Sportlines with a set of 18's would go quite nicely

You might want to check and see if your spring spacers are still in because that is some insane ride height. The dealer is suppose to remove them but it gets missed every now and then. This is a bad picture but you can see it on the left:

Hey man, thanks. I'll check it out tomorrow hopefully. That'd be great if those spacers were still in. I just can't understand why the hell the gap is that huge. Very upsetting.

It won't stop snowing here... we went from 60 degrees in january to -5 right now w/ 8-10 inches of snow.

my 06 had the same insane wheel gap, i replaced them with used ss/sc springs and there was a very noticable drop all around. No spacer found durring the install, and comparing the springs you could very well see they are completely different springs. I think some 2.4L's must have shipped with 2.2 springs..

wow i thought i was the only one! its so annoying to see in the rear tirewell where like it goes black and then a square of body color.

i need to check mine too. i REALLY wanna get rid of the gap, but my front bumper is already so scraped up from being as low as it is now and im scared ill rip it off if i go any lower
