magnaflow catback

anyone know what muffler they use? or a similar one? i figure i could save some greenbacks by bending all the tubes at school and making all the hangers and brackets myself.

I can confirm that they do indeed use a Magnaflow. I heard they had contemplated going with some glasspacks but they felt that since the name of the company was Magnaflow they would use one of their mufflers.

in reality.. if your going to make the tubing yourself, i think any model would work... becasue you would weld on the hangers where you need them... just go to auto zone or pep boys and buy one of the mufflers and get to building your exhaust... if you put half of the time that you spend on here you would have been done already... now what are you witing for get building, and when your done send it to me

I did the same thing really. I have a magnaflow performace exhaust 40 on mine and it sounds good. it got a deep tone, and not too high.

It's not just the muffler itself that gives the gains......it's in the tubing as well. Mandrel bending really does make a difference.

Is it a custom setup with a Magnaflow muffler, or a full Magnaflow system?
