i have just come up on 50,000 miles. Till this point i have only changed the oil every 4000 with Mobil 1. at 45000, my clutch went out do to the slave cylinder leaking, and was replaced for free by GM.

i think major maintenance is around 60,000 i'm just wondering what i should do.

btw. i have a 2.4 Manual

 

Just do stuff early.

Spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, trans fluid.

 

thanks for the reply. i think i'll start doing things slowly as my funds are a little low. Plugs and filters now problems, i gotta see how to for trans fluid.

i know brake / clutch fluid is good. i changed out with fresh when i upgraded brakes and shortly after my clutch failed, so GM put new stuff in when it was replaced (the slave cylinder)

 

Spark plugs are 100k interval, trans fluid is lifetime. Did my trans anyway at 95k because of my driving habits, and it looked new.

 

I changed my trans fluid with amsoil ATF

 

Feel any different?

 

Mobil 1 ATF here, no dramatic change in feel
