ok i know you are just wondering and testing the water and stuff but here is my honest opinion, and remember, i am in the same shoes as you (well was..)

dont do it.

adding F/I to your vehicle is not a easy job, you might think you have it all figured out, but you really have no idea, unless you are paying somone to do it and have alot of money to play with..then go for it...if not..sorry to say, but its out of your league, as it was mine and still is out of mine.

Not only is this task difficult, but from what I understand and you being in high school, I'm guessing this is your daily driver. Don't do stuff to impress people. You obviously bought this car because you liked it. Who cares what other people think about your car?

Hey, you know what? Since you seem really ambitious with your potential projects, can you by the JBP Vortex header, install it on thr 2.4 and make a how to?

if you have to ask how difficult it's going to be don't do it yourself. I'm not trying to be a dick. If you don't know everything involved with doing a custom f/i setup you don't wanna get into it unless you have a TON of time to keep the car out of commission and learn what you're doing.

you can always s/c it. it's cheaper, gets you in the FI world with lots of support to back you up, and in the future...you can sell your kit to another 2.4/2.2 owner and use the proceeds for bigger and better things...ie snail

not to be a dick but if your asking these sort of questions your probably not ready to do this build. If your dead set on doing something like this to your DD (im assuming) i would suggest getting some books and reading up. Also id say turbo would be better if you wanted the most power.
