Miss-fires?

So I installed my full exhaust today. (vibrant header with hi-flow cat, and ark dt-s exhaust) I don't have any kind of heat shield anymore factory one doesn't work but I am getting some miss-fires. It's not jerking or anything and when it does happen it is only 1 or 2 and then they are gone. Its across all cyclinders but not every time. My only guess it the extra heat getting to the ignition wires. any clue to why I am getting then and how to fix it?

bump

might have exhaust leak causing o2 to read high 0xygen so lean conditin causing it to add fuel which would cause a rich miss fire at idle if u have a scanner look at ur LTFT

I am not throwing any CEL though, but I will run my dashhawk on all of my LTFT.

Plugs more than likely.

I ran without a heat shield like, forever without problems

i did check the plugs and they looks perfect. I am thinking its a leak or sensor.

Never threw a misfire code until a few days after my mid length header/dp went on. Cleared it, havent seen it again. But, my interceptor still shows a misfire here and there, 2-6 usually, from cylinder 3. I swapped 2 and 3 coil packs, but still only showed misfires on 3. Even changed injectors as I went bigger, still #3 here and there. Theres a few threads around about random misfires and seems pretty common. And my LTFT's are in the negatives just about always.

yeah I haven't seen anything higher then 2 on each cylinder. but I have gotten 2 cylinders mis-firing at the same time.

Change your plugs and see if it goes away.

Just because they look fine doesn't mean they are not causing the problem.

Yea, try new plugs and check the gaps on them before installing and adjust if necessary. This didn't make a difference with mine but it's a cheap fix if it works.

what kind of plugs should I look at? Would it not be a sensor since its so random? I did go from two full cats to a single high-flow.
