I don't want a glass pack. Too many people have told me it will sound horrible.

orrrrrr you can leave it the way it is and just slap on a nice turbo that will quiet it down alot

Since I started modding my car it's been making noises. The interior has so many noises. And I'm done with bolt ons. There's nothing else I can do. I would turbo or sc it but I don't want to risk breaking my daily driver. My plan is in a few years to part it out and trade it in for something better.

Here's what I did:

My muffler is a Dynomax Super Turbo (P/N 17733).

Which muffler do you have? because mine fit almost naturally, the guy at the shop had no problems installing mine. Exhibit A:

At that time I also had the over-the-axle section enlarged to 2.5", but seeing that you are starting out with a pacesetter system you should be fine. Exhibit B:

I currently have my stock resonator which I'm planning on replacing with a magnaflow resonator (P/N 10436) sometime this spring. This is partially to quiet out the minimal drone I have and I have seen evidence that the stock resonator has a 2 1/16 inch inlet. (not good)

Hope this provides some info you were looking for.

I've had mine for 2 years now and the sound is still as mellow as when I first bought it. It's a good muffler at a fair price. Yes there has been a few people that don't like it but alot enjoy the sound. My car had a tsudo exhaust on it before I got the dynomax muffler and it sounded like a mack truck and interior noise was probably just as bad like chevygirl explained. So I decided to give the dynomax super turbo muffler a try and was very pleased with the sound levels and glad I purchased this muffler.

It is yes. It'll be a bottleneck for the rest of your exhaust. The only other muffler would be a lnf muffler. Other than that get this muffler right here.
