Oh ****, i've been waiting on this,lol... Congrats on getting it running, it sounds awesome. I seriously pondered the thought of a procharger, just to be different. Good choice

I only have 42lb injectors, i have a 5.9lb spring and 8.7lb spring for my wastegate, i could also get a 7.something lb spring, i just don't know which one to go with,lol... sorry for the threadjack, but since your a dealer i thought i'd ask. lol...

probably not that much of a hassle.. i'd say go with the 5.9 spring you can always turn up the boost.. but you can't turn it down ya know? so i say go with the smaller springs

it's alright with the jack.. he shouldn'th ave a hard time at all i was tuning my car today ( on vinces day off) and he was great with the turn around and helping me he's really just an all around great guy

i mean look at my car.. my car is different then anything that's been done so far.. and he's able to tune it

hell even the first base flash he gave me had the car in a drivable condition

Sounds good, but i'm still not sure what to use,lol... My wastegate is hard to get too, to change the spring so i think i am going to get the 7psi spring and roll with that for a while. I think i will order my tune in a minute!
Your car is great, glad you went with something different. I got to ask, what's with the foam you sprayed in the airbox pocket?

hahhaa yea i used to foam for sound dampening.. when i had the blower installed last time.. it REALLY wasn't passenger friendly with how loud it was.. and the reason i painted my FMIC black was to make it less noticable.. having a loud as blower kinda defeated the purpose.. but the foam definitely helped out .. you can hear it when I get on it but it's not overwhelming

right now unless you know exactly how these cars sound stock you probably wouldn't know it was boosted till you heard the BOV lol

yup.. all FI need some way to release excess pressure

nitrous needs a purge valve (well you should use a purge setup lol)

roots sc uses a boost bypass valve
turbo uses BOV
and centri sc also uses blower valve or a bypass valve depending on what direction you want to go

yea definitely dont go over what you want to do hp wise. i.e. get as close to your preferred minimum psi setting and throw a boost controller on it. that will solve that issue...and from talking to kyle on aim i think vince will do an awesome job

a procharger is basically a turbo, its just run off of the serpentine belt/engine power instead of engine exhaust. kinda like training diapers for a turbo

so just an update.. at 5600 rpms and at about 30-40% throttle and a very safe tune (10.8 afr) .. i'm already making almost 27lbs/min...

the supercharged 2.4's he's tuned are at 29 lbs/min the turboed 2.4's he's tuned made about 36-37 lbs/min on 10 psi

well .. car is good to go for WOT's I did a good run.. annnnnnd blew a pipe off lol BOOOOOO

gotta figre that out then the car is close to good to go ... it's still running on the rich side.. but better to be safe then sorry

boost doesn't help the much needed driver mod but it should be nice to see some of the final out come.

I take it you don't know much about the eaton by making that statement. Centrifugal superchargers like the procharger produce max boost at redline where positive displacement blowers make peak boost off idle. Unless he has a 20psi pulley on it it's going to produce **** under 3000rpm.

I'm still interested in seeing what it can do tho. Going to be a top end monster.

well vince said according to numbers i was probably pushing like 3-4 psi around 3k.. since I'm the first one to do this .. we dunno how much boost i'm running since my boost gauge is on backorder still I'll know when it comes in..

we suspect i'm running about 8-10 psi..

and while it's not boost right off the bat.. that'll help me with traction.. but then again .. I HAS NON LULZ yeaa this thing pulls hard and smooth lol ..

tunes not dialed in so i'm running mid 10s for AFR all the way up .. and i keep letting off cuz i'm scared/ dont have room.. I cant wait to get it on the highway

my blower is like a HUGE turbo.. and i'm ok with that .. i'm looking forward ot getting numbers.. I plan on getting them next week .. hopefully I'll have the tune not at rich.. because I hate making excuses like" the tunes not finished"

honestly the car FEELS like 240 or so WHP in it's current state.. i know butt dynos aren't greatly calibrated.. but compared to the tuned ss/tc i did the other day .. my car feels slower.. but not by much.. kinda feels like the stock ss/tc i've road in

It'll be a sweet setup no matter what. What head unit are you going with? C1? P1?

Are you building the engine for boost or using a stock bottom end? If your using a stock shortblock you might want to look into the thicker head gasket for added room.

it's staying stock bottom end for now.. but when i build it i'll be using stock CR and all .. i've been looking into this stuff for like 2 years lol .. these engines can handle a good amount..

my only concern is that i have almost 70k on it and i just started boosting lol

well that and that I don't break belts i'm probably going to buy a beater before i go any further power wise in case something happens.. even though i should be fine..
