GUYS I got a question!!!

Do you have to remove the coolant crossover pipe to get to the oil feed fitting?

If so is it just drain coolant, unbolt pipe housing, done?

THANKS

bringing this thread back up!

What do you boosted guys run in your tune in terms of boost/afr/timing?

Right now I'm at .787 PE ratio on 8psi with timing ramped from 8-13* up top, nice and conservative until I fully dial in the maf then push it some more.

you think 11psi is safe, long term?

not insinuating anything I just don't really know what I should run for the best mix of fun and longevity

I'm not boosting every day, so heck yeah !

I've been running 11 psi for a bit over 3 years and 20,000 miles on bad tunes (lol),
been to the drag strip many times and my only issues were turbo journal bearing
oiling problems and I may have taken some advice from Bullseye that I should have
walked away from.

forgot to add.....
that 11 psi is with a s256et, I don't know your turbo
so psi could be different.

It would definitely be different power, but boost is pretty indicative of cylinder pressure no matter what turbo. And with our thin sleeves I'm trying keep that down as much as possible. Thanks for the info though, I have a feeling I'm going to be boosting pretty much daily so I'll be tuning at 8 psi and go from there.
