I suppose I can upload the article about the high speed chase that was in the local news paper too but you'll just say I photo shopped that too. lol but seriously..you can tell i was on a high speed run. i have a fast stock 2.4 but there is no way i'm running a 15 flat quarter. this was a long straight with alot of dips and uphill, downhill grades in the road. obviously mostly downhill for me to hit those kind of numbers. not like the short straight that is flat where i do my quarter mile testing. my best quarter mile to date with hptuners is a 15.6. Completely stock with the intake resonator removed. Lots of mods planned with so little time.

How can you're G-tech pro be accurate when it uses an accelerometer? I'm pretty sure you need flat ground for it to be accurate in any way.

Needs flat ground? When I put it in road race mode it reads my speed correctly just the same as when I put it in drag race mode. The road doesn't have to be flat. The gtech even reads my cars ignition/rpms through the voltage of the power plug. Don't diss on a gtech just because you're a dashhawk owner. I too am going to be purchasing a dashhawk but gtechs are very good at what they do. The dashhawk just has alot of different features that i'm interested in but i'm keeping the gtech cause the msd doesn't have some of its features either. All I know is the car had the 129 stock limiter and my needle was topped.

I know I did 162 because I've had the Speedo at 157-158 before.

You then take into account that i am running on 225/45-18's, which make the wheels right about 3/4 of an inch taller than stock.

Plug all of those into a Transmission Gear Ratio Calculator and I find out that I was going 162.

The e67 is one strange bugger to tune so I guess that explains it. I don't know where you people are getting your limiter numbers. Have any of you tuned the stock computer with hptuners or efilive or lsedit and actually seen what the stock limiter is set at or are you just guessing? I think you are just guessing.
I have ran into it AND seen it on HPT.

I'm not dissing on G-Tech, I was just genuinely wondering how it works at high speeds with uneven road. It must read the car's computer like the Dashhawk for those kinds of tests then, right?

My buddy just broke his record recently.

He hit 202Kph, or roughly 125Mph (GPS Verified). Ran out of road or it would have hit the full 130Mph.

where in canada are you guys hitting over 210... i've never had a chance to full out rev 4th gear in my 07 ss na, but I have hit 208 on the deerfoot extension (I live in calgary)... any calgarians know a good place to get a tune/limit remover? I'd like to hit 230.

Just because a 2.4L has a tune and no rev limiter, doesn't mean that it can hit 230 km/h. You'd have to hit that in 5th gear and it just will not pull.

Ya I know it wouldn't be that easy to hit 230 without mods. wasn't sure what a tune/lowering/cai/full catback would do... I should just scrap my cobalt for a 05 G35 and then i'll have more speed

That's easy because 5th gear would pull to redline with no wind resistance.

I have a G5 GT in NS Canada and I was able to get 200KPH on 225/45/17 and when I put my sportlines on I could get a bit faster, was this cause the car is lower and more aerodynamic or just a different day with wind speed/direction.

Fastest I have even been was 242KPH in an 81 Trans AM, with a GPS as the cluster is max in 140KPH if I remember right. And I never want to do that again
