Need Adivise: Cat or Catless

Ok, so some of you might have seen posts by me regarding the vibrant dp I have with the loose cat. Now I'm currently trying to get a corsa touring and want to know if a gutted cat with that will sound like crap. I'm pretty sure it will but wasn't too sure. Thanks.

Oh, and it's a 2.4 with little amount of mods (intake, shiftplus)

Don't go cat less unless you can put up with your car sounding raspy as hell.

Haha, yea thought that might be the answer, I'm going to a custom exhaust place in about a half hour and see how much he'd charge me to weld on a new high flow cat.

Off Topic:
Where can you sell a used cat and how much do you think I could get for that one?

Where could I get it for that price? Vibrant company wants 149.99 and I got quoted from TTR for around 105.

*Side Note*
I got quoted 70 taking off and welding on a new cat, does that seem high?

definatly stick with the Catted version, way to rapy and shitty sounding without a cat! plus the gains you will see compared to the attention you will draw just isnt worth it!

I've been running an XTC 2.5" catless downpipe with my setup (along with a CA header and an ARK N2 cat-back) for two years now, and everywhere I go, whether it be a Cobalt meet, or just out around town or at the mall, I always get compliments on the way my car sounds. Been told by many Cobalt owners and non-Cobalt owners that I have the best sounding Cobalt they've heard.

Cat-less FTW!!!!

Since I can't get a trade for the d/p I think I'm just gunna replace the cat but I'm trying to find a better deal on the welding.
