DO NOT BUY A RENTAL CAR!!! Especially a "sport" coupe.

 

Wassup. Good choice on the SS 2.4L. If you buy it, make sure you get approx $5000 extra financed in, so you can buy a turbo kit and a nice 3" exhaust and you'll take your mid 15sec car, to a mid 13sec car.

 

thats a definite. they tore that engine up... i would have if i rented a cobalt. someone find and post that cobalt rental vid. lol

 

welcome to the site.as mentioned. be careful about the rental part. we all love to drive rentel cars

 

just buy it and blow it up yourself...then warranty it.

 

for 4k more you can have my ss/sc with 14k miles and well taken care of. I agree rentals are not a good purchase for many reasons

yeah rental FTL I know I always beat the crap outa rental cars

 

I had a malibu and an Impala for a rental car. And lets just say it was a nice time

 

reminds me of the time my rental tarus met the local corn feild, they dont do as wellas thr F150's off road

check all tires for missing tread...lol

thats about the only way you can tell a rental...ive looked at a few cars that "looked" good on the outside but you check the tires and theres 1 wheel with hardly any tread...

i bought it from ZZP for 50 bucks

 

so i posted all the warranty work that gmvis show's in the system. now i can not tell you if they kept up with their regular maintenance or not but thats what you get with a used car.

 

I just bought mine two weeks ago from saturn of troy. I got it for 12900 with 9700 miles on it. I talked them down from 13995, with factory warranty still in effect. Black 5 spd. The seats are in really great condition considering the cobalt leather(fake) seat history. I'm having them change the rotors on it because they were shot. It was owned by a GM tech who clearly never drove the ******* thing. There's a couple of scratches but overall im happy with it. I didn't buy the car for it to stay stock though
Before i bought i looked at the carfax as well as the vin history on it. I think i got a great deal.

2006, 5 speed with yellow/black ss/sc leather seats.

 

No, i was at work until 4:30 and then i went down hall road(HORRIBLE IDEA) towards troy. I live in the Shores. I have seen only two other Black SS/Na around Macomb area. I used to have an SS/SC but i got hit and totaled in Tenn on vacation ******* sucks.

 

oh i drive jefferson pretty much every day to work in the summer and im just in the shores alot so ill probably see you sometime. im trying to think, the only black ss/sc ive ever seen was parked and a house just south of 11mile and jefferson.

 

Keep an eye out for a 2.4 cobalt 06 07. Looking into getting into one of these cars =).
