hey mike, i thought you would have had your's tuned by now,

the car didnt really run without the tune, i put my stockers back on and tag tuned it with the ss/sc injectors yesterday,

cars runs great, but threw an engine light as soon as i let it idle over 2 minutes.

i gotta call tag on my lunch and see whats up, but yea, the swap works great and i now know why you're having trouble tuning your car, mine was hard aparently there's 10 ttables for timing and air/fuel as opposed to one each like the ss/sc

I have not had too many of the problems that you seem to be experiencing. As far as I know Richie is running great.

I'm glad you got some positive results from this mod.

on a sidenote, did you have issues with HPTuners after you flashed the 2.4..? I had to completely uninstall and reinstall it to get it to read or flash a 2.0.

well i know they had to do a "FULL WRITE" everytime they wanted to write something to the computer, they couldnt just write what they changed, the tune took forever but thats cause i was sorta a gini-pig, they havent fully tuned a 2.4 before. anyway i pulled the code, my bro works at canadian tire so they read it for free, and its a p0172, i looked up the code and then we cleared it, it hasnt come on yet, but i know its running a bit rich stil, maybe its just my o2 sensor i fucked up

Also with the Dashhawk. And the Dashhawk logs it so you can download it to your PC.

Actually, yeah my car is still running great. No problems at all. Except that my fuel gauge keeps going down everytime I step on it. Damn right foot. Steve did a great job and added 2 degrees of timing and no codes, no problems. The car is definitly better off the line.

i've only had it like this for a day, but i bet i'll learn how different everything is soon

Well, still in Puerto Rico, but i just ordered the harness. Apparently GMParts Direct got wind of the want for 2.2 harnesses so the price went up. I paid about 65.04 for mine. 53 something without shipping. The injectors are home in the states waiting for me. Ill be back saturday, and once I get the harness in, things will be looking good. Stevo, ill email you once the harness arrives. You still need my stock table? Im trying to find it. I think I lost my flash drive that had it, but there's so little changed on mine that Ill go ahead and send you a file on yahoo.

jesus, 125 for a damn injector harness??? ouch. So the part number in this thread is correct, right? just making sure because the thing on GMPartsDirect said it was under the engine harness section. If it isnt right, then ill resell w/e the hell it is and buy the right damn one. Cant wait to get back to the states!

I am almost positive that someone at GM copied my original idea and decided to run with it given its ease and cost effectiveness. Let's hope they leave my tune alone!

RICHIE> You need more timing please see me, we need to trade time for bumper inserts :-) And Cobalt Kid can get one too if he wants.

I don't know about the 2.4 interceptor, but the 2.0 does not read duty cycle, just pulse width, long and short fuel trims.

Yeah I was hoping it would show duty cycle, but unfortunately not. Reads about everything, but just doesn't calculate to get duty cycle.

The 2007 injectors are fine. NO the normal 2.2L harness will not work, you need to order the SPECIFIC part# listed in this thread, only that one is plug and play.

make sure he doesnt give you the stage 2 injectors, those are too big for our motors, you want the fully stock ss/sc injectors 34lb/hr

They will physically plug right in with the proper harness listed in this thread. But you will need either my tune, or someone elses that has it figured out (not many on here do)

I'm sure the GM Stage 2 injectors would work fine if tuned right. Although it would be pointless unless you are running over 8psi.
