just paid for it 105.00 canadian it will be here in a week,but I'm in no hurrey for the dyno tune now,my cam problems continue,just found out I have one or more roller rockers broke again.the car goes in on tuesday to be fixed yet again

Keep in mind this is not a part originally intended for the car. It is for the 2001-2004 Ecotec 2.2L. It just happens to perfectly fit the 2.2 and 2.4L harnesses and the S/C injectors PERFECTLY!

IT IS NOT A COBALT PART! That's why we give you the specific part number. It does not matter what year your cobalt is, the P/N will work.

Right. GM happened to make a harness that would connect to the 2.2/2.4 harness and LSJ injectors.

I think its a conspiracy. They're checking how smart we are, and planted a 2.2L harness that just happens to fit the LSJ injectors AND plugs into the 2.4L with a tune. CONSPIRACY DAMMIT! Stevo, when can I expect that tune? Please dont take off torque management, I just reflashed to stock yesterday and noticed a difference when I put it back on. Less problems and noises. You set the limiter for 7000 right?

Awesome! I haven't put the injectors in yet, but I did take a look at it. How much did you want again? As for the wait, no problem, I had to wait for the harness and muffler anyways. I want to do a dyno soon as well. Thanks man, we shall see what this will do for my car!

If you switch the injectors will it work with a Vector tune? Or can you only use HP Tuners?

Mine did the same thing this weekend, I tuned illmatcs car a little bit more (still waiting for him to get the harness for the injectors) and I went to do redlinebrians car sunday morning, and it wouldn't connect, I had to install and uninstall like 3 times before I got it to read again. And yes it won't do the write callibration only, have to do full write. PITA! lol

Definitely a PITA. If you do a write calibration only on the Automatics it will wipe the VCM clean. I hate how the only way to flash it is to do teh Write Entire. Too risky IMO, but maybe its because it has to write the VCM and the TCM.

I think you guys are right, that might explain why my HPTuners always needs to be reinstalled, I didn't relate it to the 2.4L's

I keep all of my files on my phone so I always have them with me. Never know when you need a reinstall.

Let me know what you think of the tranny retune :-) I bet you are going to like it.

I'm not sure if you understand what a tune is. A tune is basically modifying the car's computer to understand what you have done to it (put in new injectors) because you now have more fuel. Before a tune (modification to computer ecu), the ecu would not know what to do with that extra fuel and you would be dumping way too much into the cylinders and then you would be pig rich, your car may not start or idle or you will burn out the cat...or any number of other issues.

So yeah, vector can more than likely tune your ecu if you tell them you swapped injectors to the 2.0 s/c stockers. Or someone with HPT will be able to tune your vehicle.

In my opinion, a Vector tune would not be a good idea in this situation because not many 2.4L have done this yet. You may be their first 2.4L with s/c injectors at Vector. With HPT, the same issue can still happen, and a mail order tune from an HPT guy may or may not be good for you.

Your best bet is to find someone near you with HPTuners if you do decide to go with the s/c injectors for your 2.4L.

lol. I do the same thing too... Nextel Memory card FTW!!!... also e-mail them to my desktop so I have em saved in multiple locations just in case.

Damn... so do they make upgraded or stronger roller rockers than stock? Obviously the stockers aren't designed to take the kinda stress the cam is putting on them.

On another note... what does your idle sound like with that cam? Sound clip?

Yup I use sprint. My phone is my life. I use it for my 2.0megpixel camera, where all my pics come from. It's my Camcorder, I have a 1 GigHD (soon to be 2 gig) in it, and I use it for Ebay, and the net, TV, radio, etc. Love this Samsung A940!

nice man... I got the motorola i870.. just got a new digital camera/video camera though. so I'll be posting up some nice vids this summer.. gonna do some log runs tonight and I"ll record those just to figure out how to use the damn thing
