My dad has Nextel, Sprint and NExtel can call each other at no charge. If you hate your service it might be worth switching....if that makes ANY difference I don't know.

stuck with the plan for another year... but I hate talking on the phone anyway, so it's no big deal to me

You bought the 2001-2004 harness? I thought only the 2005 harness would work... Stevo, you've got mail. So, does anyone know how I can get ahold of a cable for HPTuners that will work with the software I have and will access my cobalt (06 2.4L) without having to pay 700 dollars? I just need the cable so I can connect to the car!

Awesome mod list. Please be sure to share the results!

Thanks Doc, you're a great help. I hate to be such a pain. Anything you need help installing? We just put in my girlfriend's 240sx RS-R Exmag Remix exhaust. took MAYBE 20 minutes without a lift or jacks or ramps. Just a sawzall for the old hangers, 12mm socket, and adjustable pliers. I hate having a car thats a pain in the ass.... still needs the tranny cracked open, and the shifter points and linkage lubed. Not to mention various body/suspension squeaks.

Actually colbaltcrusin, I don't know where you could find out about tunes. I learned all my info from pyskostevo here in AZ.
Well I'm gonna let you guys in on a little secret. There is no special wire splicing or cutting needed. Don't even need to take out the electical tape. The special harness needed is none the less a 2.2l harness. Everthing is plug and play and I have to say the easist mode. Only took 10-15mins max. Then you just have to have it tuned.
I say $50 is a fair price. Our buddy is getting some for around that price. By the way the price for the 2.2l harness was $31.00 my cost. Don't know list price since I get employee discount.

If you want to use the stock injectors and splice the injector clips from the 2.0L harness onto the 2.4L harness go right ahead. I think it is a waste of time, and could be very dangerous unless you REALLY know how to do it. Otherwise you are risking losing and injector......quickly followed by the coresponding cylinder.

Does DOC have a copy of your tune?

Yeah it's incredibly serious. The difference in the Injector flow rate is about 41% if I can remember. You can either be 41% lean or 41% rich (approximates I know that percentages are not the same multiplied as they are divided)
Either way you would not make it home. Just get your stuff together before hand, you have 2 weeks it looks like.
And Make sure you get the correct harness, the part number has been listed previously in this thread. I don't think it's written on there, but make sure you get it off the right model car. And it should all come off in one piece so you shouldn't have to worry about missing a part. Just note that it connects to the Throttlebody as well as the Harness and injectors.

Awesome Psyko thanks! I started an injector sell thread to help with this problem for us 2.4 guys. I'll get everything before I go to the meet that way I'll install the 2.0 injectors and the harness and then let DOC tune it.

well they're technically rocker arms.. or cam follwers or whatever you want to call em.
but stock we do have a roller setup... just shitty stamped ones.. the 07's seem to have a heavier cast version on em... even though by the build book our stockers are supposedly good to 10,000 rpm.
