Yeah, I plan on getting some head work done (port and polish). I've got a local shop that will get me at least 30 horses and put in new valves and springs. I would love to have that, cams, and an 8000 limited tuned rpm band. It would be sweeeeeet! The engine already loves the 6500-7000 range

well no more ported head for me,Maybe.LOl...the soarse of all my problems have been discovered(bad head) allowed oil to leak out and in a days period ****** everything, so far the dealer will keep this hush for me and order me up a new head,so i hope I get away with this or I have to go after the company who built the head and probly take em to court.Well this is all very depressing, but at the same time explain all the problems i have been having

no, im going to have it ported and polished though. screw the dealership. they wont touch the car anyways because i have a short throw (OMG its the end of the world). the guys im taking it to are charging around 600 for the port and polish, but they will pull some good power out of it

Well, i see it as, people are pushing 200 whp with I/E/H and a little tuning and maybe some cams too. Then add the special head work and retune. I could easily see 220 whp done correctly.

I got my injectors and the harness! BTW the harness is out of a 03 and up Cavi or Sunfire cost me all of $5.00 at the junkyard! Injectors, $50.00 so this is gonna be a very cost effective mod for me, and give the car the fuel capibility that it needs for future mods.

200WHP here I come!

LOL! $5.00 FTW! I just did a 2004 Cavalier tonight trying to put the Injectors in there, but they are about a Centimeter shorter than the stock so you can't make them work in the cavy without fabrication. But the harness is PERFECT for the swap.

Geez $5....................YOU THE MAN!

Well, I have had the tune in since yesterday morning and all I have to say is wow. I pulls wonderfully and the new redline is great. I tested it against my friends prelude (p&p head, intake, tune, pushing around 210 to the wheels) and walked him easily from a 3rd gear pull at 60 mph. I will dyno as soon as I have the funds and I will take video as well as post the results.

Huh? Are you referring the metal retainer piece? You HAVE to use the 2.4L one, like you said. They are different fuel rails and will fit differently.

But good thing to post a lesson to the other folks. LOL! What a bad situation!

Did you get a chance to put the newer version of the tune on there yet?
