Just threw on the K&N Typhoon SRI tonight, with the help of Austyn_Balt...

oh the sport. Now it makes sense to me. I have the Injen and it sounds awesome as well. The noise alone makes it worth the purchase.

I have never taken mine off for warranty work. It's an intake not a turbo 95% of dealerships won't care about a intake.

I was told awhile back that it isnt good to put K&N on or cars due to the oil on the filter that will mess with mass air flow sensor creating it to fail. Is that true has anybody else heard that?

i have the same thing. When i decided to purchase my car, i had to look online for it. i specifically wanted the "sport" and not the SS because of price, insurance, etc. It kinda seemed weird that where ever i looked, it said SS.The "official" paper work and everything about the car says SS, but stands for sport.Thats why you'll see people write ss/sc or ss/tc or ss (super-charged,turbo, or sport).

jmiller15 did you remove all the stuff under the headlight? or did you just replace what the K&N replaces?

I did, took out the silencer and everything
as well I don't think the oil would interfere unless you over oil the filter... the oil is pretty well absorbed into the filter so...

bump for pics!

I haven't heard my intake in years. Picked up my car brand new in early Oct '06, put the AEM CAI on late Oct '06 and then the full exhaust went on in Nov '06. My exhaust is much louder than any intake......right Bryce?
