I'm dynoing sometime in late november i will get the numbers on here asap. BTW stock I ran a 17.2 at the 1/4 mile. with the Jet products i ran a 16.2 at the 1/4 spinning (i repeat) SPINNING 2nd gear. JET gets 2 thumbs up from me. BTW 3.1 V6 Cavaliers like my taillights
Glad to hear a 2.2 is running the Jet Chip module with success too! BTW your 2.2 ECM has connectors that are top-to-bottom, correct? I don't think Jet Chip has a module out yet for the 2.2 ECMs that have 2-connectors side-by-side yet.

I am running a JET Stage 2 Power Module on a 2008 2.2 To me it has given a little more pep to it, but I will come right out and say there is probably more to it due to the fact I am still running stock intake and exhaust. I did hit the track...no baseline numbers without the module so if anyone has base 2.2 numbers you can compare. Best ET was 16.55 @ 88 with a 2.42 60'. 2.2, 5 spd shifting in the area of 5500...I will be the first to admit that I am no where near the best driver of a stick when it comes to racing so others may have different results.

Does it have an option like default to stock?? I am completely in the dark when it comes to tuning so I bet this isn't good for me lol but if it has a default to just zero to, wouldnt that be a safe bet? Again I know nothing in tuning, so I have my flame suit ready lol

The JET module I have plugs straight into one of the connectors on the ECM...when it comes time to go to the dealer, just unplug it and reconnect the stock connector straight to the ECM. No evidence of it ever being there.

I would think that when you upgrade your exhaust and intake you will see more gains.

With a GMPP performance exhaust, GMPP ext-honed manifold, GMPP Performance Intake, and the 2.4L intake manifold on my 06 2.2 auto the engine was strong up to 6000RPM (not with the Jet chip module either)

your mph is too high for your E/T. Shifting at 5500rpm is way to low to shift, so im not sure how you got 88 mph because with a 2.4 60 foot and a stock cobalt with just a can tune doesnt justify the 88 mph trap speed when you look at your shift points, 60 foot and E.T.

So im gunna have to say thats not correct

So whould that mean if you really wanted to you could adjust the fuel and spark in such a way as to run a turbo w/o reliability issues w/o a tune?

PN 10708 (St 1) and 10708S (St 2) are for the 07 and 08. I know Jet Performance made one for the 06 but I don't know the PN. If you call JEGS, Summit Racing or Neverenoughauto they'll be sure to get the right one for you.

That looks right -- the "S" at the end of the PN signifies it is a stage 2.

After orderng this I called JEGS to find out a little more about it. They told me that you can mess with the settings but if you just plugged this unit in it will only help with the low end. ie: 0-60 mph. If you were to mess with some of the other settings then you could improve high end also but recomended to know what you are doing... This does replace the stage 2 chip though. We will see I should have it by tomorrow...

You are referring to the Jet Chip Module that has some adjustment available. I don't have experience with those -- and that was what this thread was initially about.

The modules with PNs 10708 and 10608 are only plug-and-play devices -- no adjustments at all.

It got rid of the acceleration lag below 4K RPM on my car so that alone made it worth it to me.

Well i installed the module tonight... What a waist of money in my book. all it allows me to do is look at what my sensors are doing. I cant adjust anything and it didnt add anything to my performance... Not impressed...

That doesn't sound right according to their ad on the adjustable module. You should ask for your money back based on the ad saying you can adjust performance.

Can you post pics of the install and how the wiring is run? Does it attach to the ECM or just to the OBDII port?
